Premium Cigars Deeming Rule Fully Vacated Judge Amit Mehita of the U.S. District Court has ruled in favor of the premium cigar industry’s favor. This ruling means that the deeming regulations introduced by the FDA in 2016 will not apply to any cigar that meets the court’s definition of “premium cigar.” “This is a great day for the premium cigar industry. Judge Mehta has handed down a scathing rebuke of the FDA and its rule. Warped Cigars Press Release: Black Honey Releasing Fall 2023 We are re-releasing Black Honey at this years PCA. This is the 3rd time the blend has ever been released, the last time in 2017. Black Honey is the interior blend of the La Colmena Unico Especial with the wrapper of El Oso Papa, originally the blend itself was a mistake. Back when we were rolling the original La Colmena Unico Especial at El Titan de Bronze, Sandy had accidentally put the wrong wrapper on the first 600 cigars of the production. When we were down at the factory to check on the production we noticed it and told her to stop, she had used the wrong wrapper. After smoking the first one, we immediately knew we had to call it Black Honey due to its dark honey flavor dominant flavor. We bundled them up and sold them only to 13 retailers back in 2015. We released the blend once again in 2017 and now we will release it once again in 2023. The blend will not be released again for a minimum of 6 years. Inner Circle Domaine Rouge by Cavalier Genève at PCA Cavalier Genève Cigars announces the new Domaine Rouge by Cavalier Genève as regular production addition to its Inner Circle cigar line at PCA this year. “Domaine Rouge by Cavalier Genève” is a new addition to its brand Inner Circle which first officially showcased during last year’s PCA. Domaine Rouge refers to Cavalier’s factory in Honduras, the Fabrica Centroamericana de Tabaco SA (FCT), which happens to be of red-ish color. As Inner Circle did, Domaine Rouge pays homage to the people that influenced the history of the company; in this case, a tribute to founder Sebastien Decoppet’s father, Pascal Decoppet, who passed away in 2021. Pascal Decoppet was born in 1956, the date seen on the Domaine Rouge cigar boxes, designed with the aesthetics of classic wines and wineries in mind.
